It's been a while, so if you are returning, nice to see you again! If you're new to my work, welcome, pull up a chair, drink some hot cocoa, and I hope you enjoy the ride!
2019 has just not been my year. There was a lot of illness and loss in the family that was very emotionally draining and time-consuming. It's been difficult getting back into a regular swing which put the release of several books I had planned to publish this year are way behind. That does not mean I won't be publishing them; it will just take longer than I had expected (totally messes with new years resolution to publish four books this year instead of last years two *grumbles*).
As of now, I have three books that I'm actively working on. Tied To The Sea: The Nameless Syren Series Book 2, Ash To Ashes: The Ashton Chronicles Book 1, and The Seraph's Deal(this one is possibly a standalone).
Two great ways for you to keep up to date on the progress of any of my books is to check my websites main page where you'll see word counters and my Avery Thorn Reader group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2334783596741559
I'm hoping to publish Tied to The Sea by Halloween, but as soon as I have a definitive release I will update my site and page!
At the moment I don't have plans for the second Vampire sequencing book. As my first book, it's a precious story to me, but it's also my first book and has a lot of flaws with the story overall. It doesn't sell very well, so I've been tempted to take it off the shelves and start from scratch, polish it till it shines, but I'm also tempted to keep it how it is and develop a more in-depth story and characters as the series goes. It's kind of up in the air right now.
Next year will hopefully be a much better for me as two exciting things will be taking place. I'm MOVING!! Wooo! In all my years of life, I've never actually moved, I'm literally only a mile from the hospital I was born in, so this will be an exciting new experience especially since it will be out of state. And the second thing is that I will be appearing as Avery Thorn at the Tampa Indi Author Book Convention!!! Hmmm, I believe that is it for updates. Thank you so much for reading my stories and helping me grow as an author!
